Fondazione Edmund Mach (FEM, San Michele all’Adige, Trento) has just opened a selection for fixed-term positions as Researchers or Technologists (Level III or IV) in three research areas:

• Agrosystems and Bioeconomy
• Biodiversity, Ecology and Environment
• Food and Nutrition

This call is now the standard pathway for fixed-term hiring at FEM, and our group (Sensory Quality Unit, at FEM) has two positions in the pipeline – so I strongly encourage anyone interested to work with us or, more generally, in the agrifood and environmenta sector to apply and get on the list.

A few key points:

• Deadline to apply: July 21, 2026 (by 11:59 CET)
• Online test: July 30, 2026
• Level IV: requires a Master’s degree; Level III requires a PhD
• English B2 minimum
• Application fee: €30
• The list remains valid for 2 years — up to ~30 positions per year are filled from it
